Playing in the Ocean Today

Today was a little chilly, in the low 60's, so the plan was to just roll up her pants and let her get her feet wet. Ha. So much for plans. She was having a little to much fun jumping over the little waves and fell. Thankfully we had a bag with dry clothes. The only problem I had a skirt with tights in the bag. With kids you have to be creative so we just put her in her dry skirt, sweater and layered it with socks and a jacket. Problem was solved, she was dry, warm and able to enjoy building sandcastles.
She had fun making sand cupcakes and finding shells.

Beach Day

Little Miss Jozie posing on the skimboard.
We were blessed with  a Florida Vacation for Christmas. Jozie has loved playing in the sand and getting her feet wet in the ocean. She has been looking for bottle nose dolphins and humpback whales. That is what she calls them too. She doesn't just say dolphin or whale. Her vocabulary is huge.

She can also tell you what states to drive thru to get to Florida and point them out on the map. I am bragging here a little bit but I am proud of her.
Take a good look at that smile, this little girl is going to change the world. God has big plans for her.

Merry Christmas

Christmas Morning
She is standing by her pile of presents.
Our tradition is to wake up, put a candle on a cake that the kids made, sing Happy Birthday to Jesus then open presents.
 Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve the kids open a present which is their Christmas pj's, read the real Christmas story and make Jesus a birthday cake.

This year instead of a cake we made cupcakes. Jozie was helping to line the cupcake pan.

We hope your family had a very Merry Christmas.

Visiting Santa

I forgot my camera so I had to take pictures with my phone. They are kind of blurry but I still captured the moment.

She is not a baby any more. She looks so grown up here.
 The Snowball Fight
They had an area where the kids could have a snowball fight. These little boys who were probably around 7 or 8, so quite a bit older than Jozie, were starting to bully our other 3 year old who is Jozies buddy. Our other 3 year old is more timid and mild and he was collecting snowballs for himself and Jozie to throw. One of the boys stood in front of him and said I want your snowballs give them to me. He had a scared look and gave them to the boy. Jozie did not like that. She grabbed some snowballs ran after the boys jumped the white blockade thing in her dress and did a somersault. She then stood up and started throwing the snowballs. It was funny. She never touched them but she wasn't going to let them boys bully her our her brother. We don't allow violence but support sticking up for yourself and those you love. If you could have seen her jump that blockade in her dress and do that somersault. It was priceless.

 Carousel Ride
Jozie chose to ride the reindeer.
