Wednesday Update
She is finally doing better. She has still had treatments every 3 to 4 hours today but that is better than every 2 to 3 and she has not had any emergency type treatments where I am on pins and needles wondering if the treatment is going to work or I am going to have to call and amubulance or take her to the er. This asthma stuff is hard but she is worth it. I took this picture of her today and you can see in her face she is feeling better but not 100 percent.

Quick Update
Jozie is holding her own. She is still needing breathing treatments every 2 to 3 hours but snaps back quick after her treatments. Our big problem right now is that the treatments hype her up and she wants to run around but that causes her to start wheezing and coughing. She had her second dose of oral steroids today so I am hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Just Got Home From ER
Jozie started running a fever last night and was coughing and wheezing today so we made a trip to the ER. They got us right in and started treatments, did X-rays and started oral steroids. We stayed for a few hours,5, so they could monitor her. They sent her home with a steroid script and wanted us to continue her other asthma med's along with Tylenol and Motrin as needed. So please pray for a quick recovery for her. It is sad seeing her sick and not her spunky self.
They tried to get her to take unflavored children's Tylenol in the hospital. She was crying and didn't want it. I asked the nurse for flavored and she said all the kids get unflavored and they just fight with them to take it. I told her Jozie wasn't like all the other kids she was a one in a million and a world changer and I would call my hubby to bring her flavored so she wouldn't throw up the oral steroid that she just took fine, it was flavored. She said they would try again after X-rays. She took it better after X-rays but next time I will remember to bring our flavored Motrin and Tylenol. :) The nurse was nice and good with her, so was the respiratory therapist and doctor. She was just doing her job but it was a children's er so they need to get that stuff flavored.:)

Beach Day
We made it home late last night and are now freezing our tail ends off.
Looking at these beach pictures gives me a little warmth.
Jozie loves the beach.
Look at this perfect plank,
Soaking up the sunshine.

Sea World
Our Sea World Day was Jan. 1.
Here Jozie is watching the bottlenose dolphins.
She liked the sting rays.
I had to include this picture because it warms my heart and this blog is to give you a peek into her life. Here she is holding hands with her brother walking out of the aquarium. They are best friends. These two turn heads which is good because they are going to change the world.

Busch Gardens
On New Years Eve we spent the day at Busch Gardens. Jozie loved seeing the Sesame Street characters. She also loved the rides. She was fearless, the faster and steeper the better.
Even though she loved the rides I think the highlight of her day was seeing Elmo. She ran up to him and gave him a big hug.
This was one of her first rides.
Icecream break.
